 Student Program – Graduation Covenant

The Student Program – Graduation Covenant (PEC-G) provides College level graduation opportunities to citizens from developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational and cultural agreements.   Developed by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education, in partnership with public – Federal and State - and private universities, the PEC-G selects foreigners between 18- and, preferably, 23-years-old, with concluded High School education for conducting their graduation studies in the country.

USC is a partner University of such program.   Therefore, the selected student attends the graduation for free.   In return, it must meet some criteria, among them, confirm it is capable of funding its expenses in Brazil, have High School, or equivalent course, conclusion certificate, and be proficient in Portuguese language.

Those persons included in social-economic development programs, agreed between Brazil and their countries of origin are preferably chosen.   Agreements establish that the student takes the commitment of returning to its country and contributing with the area in which he or she it graduated.
