About the course

The Dentistry course provides students with the biological knowledge and technical skills for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disorders of the mouth and adjacent structures or referral to other specialists.

After graduating, you will work in individual and collective patient care; in the guidance of the population regarding the prevention of mouth problems; in the diagnosis of such diseases and operatory procedures. In hospitals, you may work improving oral health and reducing the incidence of hospital infections among inpatients.

You will also work as a social reality transformation agent, with capacity for managing and administrating health services and promoting the interaction in multi-professional healthcare teams.
