About the course

The Psychology course provides students with multidisciplinary knowledge encompassing a diversity of thoughts and psychological lines that intended to train a critical and competent professional in the theoretical, ethical, and practical dimensions, committed to producing scientific knowledge, assessing, intervening, and promoting mental health, both individually and as a group.

After graduating, you will have competencies and skills to act professionally in private or public institutions; social organizations; hospitals; clinics; and health care centers. You will also be able to work in clinical offices; children day care facilities; schools; community associations; companies; child, youth and family courts; prison systems; professional and sports organizations; specialized clinics, for instance.

As a psychologist, you will work in the scope of prevention and intervention trying to help people to live with a quality of life.
