About the course

The Languages – Brazilian Portuguese course provides students with conditions to understand and work according to the current educational expectations and needs, promoting conditions for ethical behavior. Students turn out to be educators focused on teaching language and literature; qualified in the pedagogical process; committed to ethics, research, and citizenship; continuously seeking the truth, preserving and communicating knowledge for the good of society.

After graduating, you will be capable of working as a teacher in Elementary School, Junior High, High School, or Higher Education Institutions if you attend a postgraduate course; as a proofreader in advertising agencies or publishing companies. You may produce linguistics, literature, didactic, and supplementary materials; work in language schools or as a freelance professional, teaching groups or private students at home, in companies, or via the internet.
